ACEEE Ranks Maryland Top Ten in the U.S.

Maryland ranks among the top states in America for energy efficiency, according to a report from our partner, the American Council for an Energy Efficient Economy (ACEEE). 

ACEEE ranks Maryland 10th in the nation for overall energy efficiency and notes that Maryland achieved net incremental energy savings of more than 594,000 Kwh in 2017. 

It also notes areas for improvement in Maryland, such as state investments in energy efficiency for low-income households. By that measure, Maryland ranks well below neighboring Pennsylvania and the District of Columbia.
